Oviedo Dispatcher arrested for Porn.
A dispatcher for the Seminole County Sheriff's Office was arrested this morning on child pornography charges.
Jason Wilfong, 23, faces 10 counts of possessing child pornography, a second-degree felony that will be enhanced to a second-degree felony under the CyberCrimes Against Children Act of 2007, the state Attorney General's Office said.
Wilfong was arrested by the Attorney General's CyberCrime Unit, which was assisted by the Sheriff's Office and Oviedo and Winter Springs police departments.
Wilfong, who was hired July 31, 2007, is in the process of being fired, Sheriff's spokeswoman Kim Cannaday said.
Investigators found images of child pornography during a routine investigation, said Sandi Copes a spokeswoman for the Attorney General's Office. A search warrant was served at his Oviedo home and two computers were seized, she said.
The computers will undergo a forensic analysis, but an initial review revealed multiple images of child pornography with some of the victims as young as 5, Copes said.
