Community Garage Sale
The Lake Charm Country Estates community in Oviedo is having its annual community garage sale on Saturday, May 30th from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Ride, Rock & Roll
Oviedo Recreation and Parks proudly announces the first ever Ride, Rock & Roll powered by: City of Oviedo Recreation and Parks' Rippin' Riverside Skate Park, Radio Disney and X Games Gear. The event will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Rippin' Riverside Skate Park starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. The event is free to the public. There will be some great activities from Radio Disney to include "Flip Your Lid", "Bike Parade" and other great activities for the family.

Radio Disney will also be giving away a bicycle, skatetboards, helmets, protective gear and other great Radio Disney prizes to include four passes to one of Central Florida's water parks. Also on this day there will be a skateboard competition. The fee for the competition will be $25.00 and the grand prize for the winner of their respective age group will be a ONE YEAR FREE PASS to Rippin' Riverside Skate Park, there will be other prizes also for second, and third place finishers.

'Blues Soup 4' at Oviedo Diner

Fasten your seat belts for ten hours of live blues in Oviedo on Saturday, June 6th! Oviedo's Full Circle Spirit will host four bands for Blues Soup 3 on Saturday, June 6, 2009. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will take place at the Oviedo Diner at 220 Geneva Dr. in Oviedo. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Parking will be available in the back of Oviedo Diner.

Admission to the event is non-perishable goods to benefit the HOPE Foundation's Sonshine Community Food Pantry and Thrift Store. For more information, visit helpforthehomeless.net.
