Oviedo recently became home to the first Spinal Aid Center in Seminole County.

The Spinal Aid Center offers a relatively new technology called non-surgical spinal decompression, a treatment that offers new hope to sufferers of severe, chronic back pain.

Broad Street Partners (BSP), the developer of the stalled "Oviedo on the Park" project, is currently seeking a partner to either help co-develop the project, or simply buy it outright.

The report run by a local news station stating that Regal Cinemas will not renew its lease at the Oviedo Marketplace is false.

Yesterday, we reported that local ABC affiliate WFTV aired a report that Regal Cinemas was pulling out of the Oviedo Marketplace.

The hits just keep on coming to Oviedo's economy.

Two weeks ago, Bill's Elbow South closed its doors at the Oviedo Marketplace. Now, a local Central Florida television station is reporting that Regal Cinemas is following suit and pulling out of the Oviedo Marketplace.

Last November, Oviedo City Council told Oviedo residents they'd see significant progress on the new "Oviedo on the Park" development in the next few months. Now, almost one year later, "significant progress" still hasn't taken place, and while some Council members are asking residents to be patient, one member of Council thinks the project needs a new owner.

The hits just keep on coming. Earlier this week we spotted the Oviedo Hollywood Tans with "CLOSED FOR BUSINESS" signs on its doors.
